ADVOCAP, Inc is an established, recognized leader with over 50 years of experience in delivering effective anti-poverty and self-sufficiency programs and services. We are a private, nonprofit Community Action Agency committed to our mission of “creating opportunities for people and communities to reduce poverty and increase self-sufficiency.”

We are seeking an individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant in our Shared Services Department. This position will provide support to staff in maintaining appropriate building and tenant records on properties owned and managed by ADVOCAP.
  • This position requires strong communication and organizational skills
  • The ability to understand and relate to the needs of low-income people
  • Ability to produce accurate, grammatically correct and professional documents
  • Real estate property management experience preferred
  • Self-starter with good listening skills and a positive attitude
  • Team player willing to help wherever needed or requested
  • MS Office experience preferred
  • A current driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle is required, mileage reimbursement provided per Agency policy
  • Drug Screening and background checks required

28-hour part time work week position with a starting pay of $16.76 per hour. This part-time position will have access to vacation, sick and holiday pay, and our employer-contribution 401k, if applicable.
