Administrative/HR Assistant

Description

We are seeking applicants who are interested in a variety of work tasks who also have great attention to detail to join our team as an Administrative/HR Assistant. This role works with our Board of Directors, provides administrative support to our 3 locations and assists with HR and payroll duties. Our ideal candidate will be proficient with Word and Excel. The ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects will be key to success in this role.

Essential Functions:

· Prepares a variety of correspondence and documents with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality

· Prepares for Board meetings; collects policy revisions and agenda items; prepares meeting minutes; maintains corporate minute book in confidence

· Maintains copies of Board agendas and minutes for reference by auditors, examiners, and senior officers

· Ensures all policies are updated in a timely manner.

· Assists with Human Resources-related job duties; will complete biweekly payroll, assist with recruitment files, benefits administration, and personnel files

· Responsible for mail pick up and distribution

· Serves as a back-up receptionist; addresses customers in a friendly, courteous and efficient manner

· Prepares appropriate documents for annual meeting

· Conducts oneself in accord with the Bank’s core values

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • An Associate degree in an administrative professional or human resources program, or equivalent work experience
  • 3 to 5 years of related administrative work experience, preferred
  • Excellent customer relations demeanor; professional in appearance and communication
  • Ability to work independently
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • The ability to accurately produce professional looking documents
  • Excellent proofreading skills
  • The ability to prioritize the workload with good time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to be trained and become proficient utilizing BoardPaq
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Physical Demands

  • The ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to view computer screen and paperwork
  • Frequent use of computer and other office equipment
  • Occasional local travel including driving of personal vehicle
