How you will contribute:
This is a great opportunity to leverage your fire sprinkler design expertise and detail-mindedness. As the Assistant Fire Protection Design Manager, you will split your time between being responsible for quality control of the design team outputs and design team assistance. You will ensure fabrication documents focus on fitter-friendly design, are code and project compliant, and abide by Ahern. You will provide technical assistance that will promote efficiency and consistency. You will also be responsible for your own design work. You will work with the Design Manager and organization leaders closely to ensure optimal delivery of design.
What you need to qualify:
You will have a minimum of three years of prior relevant experience working with fire sprinkler design. Post-secondary degree or completed apprenticeship preferred. You can stand out above other candidates by demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, maintaining cutting-edge industry knowledge and being able to execute tasks with a great amount of detail will be crucial.
