Description
Summary:
This position is responsible for the safe set-up, operation, and maintenance of equipment used in the production process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide support in the installation, debugging and start-up of all production equipment.
- Complete basic PM’s and assist in more complex PM procedures.
- Responsible for monitoring performance of processes for output and waste levels.
- Provide relevant information of equipment performance status, to include production and waste rates.
- Submit Purchase Requisition for materials, equipment, or other resources.
- Interface with Engineering for process improvements.
- Communicate with supervisors, peers, and operators to resolve design or operational roadblocks.
- Utilize diagnostic skill to support equipment uptime.
- Other activities as assigned.
Essential Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:
- High School Diploma required; willingness to attend formal classes as required on an occasional basis
- Experience with electrical and/or mechanical repair with a strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work on multiple tasks to meet deadlines
- Solid working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Computer, telephone, hand tools, diagnostic and production equipment.
Personal Protective Equipment/Clothing Required (PPE):
- Safety glasses with attached side shields
- Heat resistant and/or cut resistant gloves – based on work station
- ESD smock and grounding equipment
