The City of Fond du Lac is accepting applications for a limited term (April 1 – November 30) Bulky Waste Attendant in the Construction & Maintenance Division. Duties and responsibilities include:
• Assisting the public in the municipal bulky drop off site, located at 490 Doty Street;
• Ability to count/collect bulky fees, communicate effectively in advising what is accepted at site; and
• Operating wheel loader (Previous experience is preferred).
The weekly work schedule consists of:
• 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday, Thursday, and Friday
• 10:00 a.m. to 6:15 p.m., Wednesday
• 8:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., Saturday
• No work on Tuesday or Sunday
Total – 32 hours/week. Hourly Rate – $16.09
Applicants should be 18 years of age at time of hire. A physical exam and drug screening test is required prior to start, and paid for by the City.
