Society Insurance is seeking a Claims Services Representative I to join our team. This position works will support our Property, Auto, & Liability Claims and our Workers Compensation Claims department, including setting up claims and assisting external and internal customers. This individual will also work with payments including but not limited to issuing, posting, voiding, and crediting. 

About the Role 

  • Setting up new claims and issuing payments.
  • Ensures customer service by answering general questions on the phone.
  • Maintains department files at internal customer requests.
  • Produces documents for claim files.
  • Maintains appropriate databases.

What it Will Take

  • A High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Can type at least 6,000 keystrokes per hour.
  • Experience with operating typical office machines.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain proper licensing prior to handling a state where Society requires it.
