Credit Supervisor

Job Details



  • Review credit applications and perform due diligence to determine credit worthiness of new customers
  • Establish and regularly review credit limits for each customer
  • Proactively manage customer accounts receivable balances
  • Answers and resolves questions from accounts, sales and delivery teams
  • Communicates internally and externally to resolve disputes regarding credit status, payment and delivery of product
  • Review and set up electronic payment options for customers
  • Summary level reporting, highlighting receivables, aging and conversion of customers to electronic payments
  • Conduct credit checks for outgoing orders each day to determine shipment status
  • Make decisions on day-to-day collections which satisfy customers and protect the company
  • Review and release daily orders
  • Responsible for determining use of collection agencies and attorneys
  • Monitor liquor license renewal annually to ensure all accounts do not have aged outstanding debt
  • Work with Office Manager to post distribution checks
  • Identify and drive strategic process improvement opportunities within the function
  • Define, develop and report upon KPI’s related to the function
  • Responsible for guidance, professional development and performance of direct reports
  • May be required to flex hours to support all areas of the business
  • Additional duties as assigned by management


  • Intermediate computer skills

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Experience of five (5) to sever (7) years of credit experience required
  • Experience of one (1) to three (3) years of management experience preferred
  • Experience in a distribution and/or sales environment preferred
