The Fond du Lac School District has an opening for a Cross Categorical Special Education LTSE Teacher at STEM Academy for the 2022-23 school year. Applicants do not need to have a background in project-based learning to apply, but should be open to new and innovative approaches to teaching and learning that are research-based. As a public school, STEM staff are able to enjoy all benefits of being part of the Fond du Lac School District. STEM Academy is a Project-Based Learning public charter school, that focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics principles, which are strengthened by STEM’s Fine Arts Programming. At the heart of the vision and mission of this school is the project-based learning component, which gives students and teachers the opportunity to create student-led projects in a hands-on manner. Easy driving distance to University of Wisconsin systems located in Oshkosh, Madison, Milwaukee, and Green Bay. UW Campus (two years) and Marian University (four years) located in Fond du Lac. City population and surrounding area which constitutes the school district, approximately 45,000.
