Society Insurance is seeking a Digital Experience Intern for the Summer of 2025. The intern will be assisting the Marketing & Corporate Communications team in fulfilling business needs by performing a variety of marketing and corporate communications activities, including but not limited to enhancing digital/user experience and assisting in screen design in accordance with departmental and company guidelines and standards.

About the Role

  • Drafts a monthly summary of changes and updates to the agent portal for users, ensuring clarity and relevance.
  • Creates Help Center articles on the Intercom platform, tailored for agents and policyholders to enhance their user experience.
  • Documents opportunities to address user pain points to help improve overall user satisfaction.
  • Documents our internal processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across the department.
  • Assists in the development of internal tools on the Insider/SharePoint, enhancing team collaboration and productivity.
  • Conducts user experience research to gather insights, supporting data-driven design and development decisions.
  • Assists in screen design using Figma (i.e. design tool), contributing to the development of intuitive and user-friendly portals.
  • Enhances integrations between Intercom (i.e. platform used for communications within the Agency Services Portal) and HubSpot (i.e. marketing automation program), optimizing the communication flow within the Agency Services portal.

What it Will Take

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Web Management, Web Design or a related field.  
  • Full-time junior or senior collegiate status.
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications.
  • 3.0 or better cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
