Mahala’s Hope is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides women tools for addressing their past addiction, gives them safe coping skills, and teaches them how to live in the light of their new-found sobriety. The residence is set on a working farm where nature is a daily part of the program in addition to equine experiential learning. We believe horses are a powerful pathway to gaining emotional insight and inspiring healthy changes in behaviors.
Job Summary
The Executive Director oversees and directs the day-to-day operations of Mahala’s Hope. Under the authority of the Board of Directors, the Executive Director assumes full responsibility for carrying out assigned policies and regulations. The Executive Director has the authority to direct the implementation of Mahala’s Hope programs and services and is responsible for the management of all staff members and oversight of volunteers. They maintain high standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity in personal and professional relationships.
Accountability
This position is a full-time salaried position of forty (40) hours per week and is held accountable to the Mahala’s Hope Board of Directors.
Qualifications/Requirements
The Executive Director must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, or another Human Services field, and have five (5) years work experience in a leadership position.
