WHAT YOU GET TO DO
- Perform preventative and routine maintenance of facility equipment and systems
- Maintains warehouse interior such as cleaning up cardboard, plastic, sweeping, staging pallets
- Maintains building interior such as the lunchroom, offices, conference and training rooms, resupplies products, clean, organize, general maintenance
- Maintains mechanical and storage spaces
- Responsible for regulating the temperature and online controls throughout the office and warehouse
- Performs preparation and set-up of office spaces for occupancy by moving furniture and equipment as needed
- Responsible for the maintenance and service of equipment (i.e. ice machine, appliances, desk repairs, etc.)
- Maintains building and grounds appearance and accessibility by removing ice, snow and debris from sidewalks and parking lots
- Identifies and reports more complex maintenance issues to the appropriate service technician for service or repairs (i.e. Ahern)
- Performs basic inspections of emergency and fire protection systems; perform scheduled inspections or exit/emergency lighting; inspect fire extinguishers; inspect and test generator
- Understands and follows city, county and state codes
- Partners with the Safety Representative to maintain and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Conducts routine inspections and maintenance of heating, electrical, and air conditioning equipment
- May be required to support the warehouse as needed
- Additional duties as assigned by management
- May be required to work (regular or overtime) or provide on call support on any day, may include nights, weekends and holidays

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
- A minimum of an Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience is required
- Experience in building and grounds maintenance or within a building trade such as carpentry, plumbing, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration, welding or electrical work
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
Due to the fast paced, highly physical demands of the position, job candidates will be required to complete a Post Offer Pre-Employment Physical (POPE). Job candidates must pass all aspects of the POPE to qualify for the position.
