St. Mary’s Springs is seeking a senior production assistant cook for the 2022-2023 academic year. Our successful candidate will be responsible for supporting efficient operation of the school lunch program within a team environment. Tasks would include assisting Kitchen Manager with food preparation and serving of food; help maintain a clean work environment; and other duties as assigned in regard to food services. Nature of work requires moderate physical effort, continuous standing, ability to lift 30-50lb occasionally, and use of commercial food service equipment. Basic computer skills are necessary.
Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. – MTWRF. This position has the potential for additional hours and professional advancement in the future. Ongoing educational opportunities to further knowledge of the National School Lunch Program are available. Competitive benefits include sign-on bonus after 60 days, holiday pay, personal days and partial tuition remission for the 2022-2023 school year. Benefits subject to eligibility criteria.
