St. Mary’s Springs is seeking a senior production assistant cook for the 2022-2023 academic year. Our successful candidate will be responsible for supporting efficient operation of the school lunch program within a team environment. Tasks would include assisting Kitchen Manager with food preparation and serving of food; help maintain a clean work environment; and other duties as assigned in regard to food services. Nature of work requires moderate physical effort, continuous standing, ability to lift 30-50lb occasionally, and use of commercial food service equipment. Basic computer skills are necessary.
Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. – MTWRF. This position has the potential for additional hours and professional advancement in the future. Ongoing educational opportunities to further knowledge of the National School Lunch Program are available.
