Silica For Your Home is now accepting applications for a Full Time Warehouse Associate.
General Outline: This position will work Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 11 am – 7 pm and Tuesday, Thursday 9 am – 5 pm. Rotating Saturdays from 7 am – 4 pm, with corresponding Thursday off. We are looking for individuals who will be able to perform the below responsibilities, always willing to work hard and willing to give our team and customers their very best.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pull product, inspect for damage and prepare for delivery
- Convert units to LP, reverse doors, venting
- Assemble products such as grills and furniture.
- Operate a variety of material handling equipment and/or hand tools in a safe and efficient manner, including a forklift.
- Assist with unloading and receiving product, including accurately verifying shipping documents.
- Occasionally load product into customer’s vehicles, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Follow and comply with all safety rules and guidelines.
- Continually shows initiative as well as the ability to work independently, completes assigned tasks and special projects with little guidance.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Ability to secure and close the warehouse at the end of the day.
Requirements:
- Ability to work on your feet the majority of the shift with frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing and pulling.
- Ability to operate our delivery trucks, with having a clean driving record and be insurable.
- Ability to operate a forklift (will assist with certification).
- Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn our business system.
- Needs to be detailed. The ability to read numbers accurately is essential.
- Work effectively, independently, and willing to help out wherever there is a need.
- Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
- Working conditions are subject to a warehouse environment.
Wage and Benefits:
Compensation for this position will start between $18.00 – $20.00 per hour. Must be able to pass a drug test and background check to be considered for this position.
