We have an opportunity for a Human Resource professional to join our work family and be an integral part of shaping our future. We are seeking an individual that has an entrepreneurial spirit and is looking for a leadership opportunity in an industry that hires both blue and white collar workers. Wenger is hiring to fill an opening for a Human Resource Manager / Trades Recruiter in our growing organization with a focus on recruitment, retention, training and development. The Human Resource Manager part of this role will oversee, execute and manage all companywide Human Resource functions. The Trades Recruiter part of this role will work with our production department leaders to assist in meeting the hiring needs of our organization.
Job Type: Full-time. Salaried with minimum of 40 hours worked per week.

Recruiting & Retention
Build the strongest field force in our industry = 75 STRONG. Have a creative and aggressive approach to finding and attracting the best workers our industry has to offer.
- Work alongside department leaders to establish hiring needs and discuss recruiting strategies.
- Lead recruitment activities, including reviewing applications, arranging, and conducting interview, pre-employment screenings, and facilitating onboarding and new hire paperwork.
- Recruit candidates through a variety of networks including our referral bonus program, social media, professional networks, and online hiring websites.
- Conduct employee check in meetings and get to know our workers. Help to sustain and nurture a work environment that listens to the needs of our workers and ultimately leads to a happy and thriving company.
- Attend off-site recruitment events such as recruiting sessions on college/technical college campuses, job fairs, etc.
- Work with high schools to develop relationships and transition plans for potentially interested students.
- Fulfill various labor requirements for government funded projects including WHEDA and RPP.
- Monitor various HR KPIs to detect trends and take action accordingly.

- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, resolving conflicts and ensuring a positive solution driven working environment.
- Work on employee relations; skills, safety and leadership training; employee recognition in an effort to maximize development.
- Manage and investigate employee complaints, disciplinary actions, and grievances in line with company policies.
- Promote a culture of employee engagement.
- Administer and process employee terminations.
Safety & Compliance
Integral in being part of the protection of the company including policies & procedures, a safety culture and overall risk aversion analysis and tactics.
- Implementing and enforcing policies that align with our core values and mission statement. Responsible for maintaining our hand book.
- Policies & Procedures oversight, review, creation and management.
- Worker’s compensation management.
- Assist our Safety Director with Human Resource related tasks.
- Ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations applicable to the human resources area; maintains all HRrelated records.
