As an Industrial Maintenance Electrician, you will provide an intermediate level of expertise in installing, programming, troubleshooting, servicing and documenting the electrical and controls needs of process / production equipment in a heavy manufacturing environment. 

WHAT WILL BE YOUR

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES?

  • Diagnoses, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs manufacturing process / production machines, robots, automation equipment and related electrical equipment, such as electrical control circuits from 24v up to and including 480v AC, electro-mechanical test devices, instrumentation devices, PLCs / ladder logic controllers, and variable frequency drives as necessary. 
  • Work from and read electrical and electronic schematic drawings
  • Layout, install and maintain a wide variety of complex electrical equipment
  • Establish secondary distribution centers, balance loads, and wire circuits having a large number of units and connections
  • Completely lay out and/or wire a relocated, new or rebuilt machine
  • Diagnose, remove, replace and periodically maintain electrical motors
  • Ability to work and positively contribute in a team environment
  • Perform all work according to Company safety policies, recognized industry standards, and follow at all times what is known to be safe practices

WHO ARE WE

LOOKING FOR?

  • A valid state registered Journey Worker’s card in the Electrician Trade or a minimum of 8 years documented experience in the Electrician Trade in Manufacturing
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC, DeviceNet, RFID, Robots, and Mazak CNC machinery
  • Ability to use the equipment common to the Electrician’s Trade
  • Ability to work with limited or no supervision
  • Ability to train, instruct, guide and supervise the work of apprentices in the development of skills and abilities
