WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  • Perform a wide variety of IS support duties to ensure properly functioning computer systems and enhance the productivity and effectiveness for all company employees
  • Responsible for security of desktops, server systems, networks, and enterprise information
  • Responsible for the systems and operation to backup and protect all Badger information stores to ensure the integrity of all enterprise information
  • Update and maintain infrastructure and network through timely patch management, performance monitoring and prompt incident response
  • Responsible for assisting the computer technical support team with complex issues to ensure the service level agreement metrics are met
  • Coordinate system installations and upgrades with user departments and operations, ensuring satisfactory results
  • Provide advanced level software / hardware and documentation support for all related application and team members
  • Identify problem trends (single site or overall) and proactively develop ways to fix the root cause of the problem
  • Support mission critical infrastructure environments (end nodes, network and servers) maximizing system uptime and productivity
  • Suggest short and long term new technologies based on company goals
  • May be required to travel to other locations as needed
  • Additional duties as assigned by management

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

  • A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Networking, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, related field or equivalent experience required
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Networking, Computer Science or Management Information Systems is preferred
  • Experience of three (3) to five (5) years of information systems experience required
  • Experience with Azure and Office 365 preferred
  • Experience in virtual server environment, networking and troubleshooting preferred
  • Experience with PowerShell preferred
  • Experience in a distribution and/or sales environment preferred
