Marian University invites applicants for the position of Adjunct Instructor in Psychology, starting August 26, 2024. Successful candidates will have a strong commitment to undergraduate education and student engagement. Marian University is an institution that values innovative teaching, advising and mentoring.
Teaching responsibilities include teaching in-person undergraduate classes at our Fond du Lac, WI campus, as well as contributing to our graduate, adult accelerated and online programs, as demand requires. Candidates should exhibit skill and enthusiasm in teaching undergraduates.
Primary Responsibilities:
We are looking for instructors who have experience teaching any of the following psychology courses: general psychology, human development, applied statistics in social sciences, cognitive psychology and/or experience with R statistical software a plus.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have a Master’s degree, with a minimum of 18 credits in psychology
- Willingness to support the Mission and Core Values of Marian University
- All candidates must have authorization to work in the United States
Preferred qualifications include:
- Ph.D. in Psychology
- Professional work experience in the the field
- Experience with Higher-Education teaching, both in-person and online modalities
- Experience in learning management system platforms
