The typical schedule is: 3 days on, 1 day off, 3 days on, 3 days off, 2 days on, 2 days off, and repeat. The schedule includes every other weekend and rotating holidays. Weekend shifts will be 11:00 am – 10:00 pm.

What You Do.

  • Responsible for the inspection, documentation and transfer of product being received from supplier to proper designated raw material silo.
  • Testing and documenting milk loads and patron samples for antibiotics and complete titratable acidity tests on both the milk loads and the samples.
  • Monitoring security of intake and food safety for all fluid products shipped and received.
  • Unloading and cleaning of milk trucks.
  • Loading of milk and whey, as well as whey cream and sweet cream products with proper documentation and proper sealing of trailers.
  • Maintaining rotation of silos based on time and product.
  • Recording of silo charts for time, temperature and labeling of vessels that were cleaned.
  • Disassemble silo doors, wash them by hand, and reassemble.
  • Making connections for the CIP system to wash silos, trailers, product lines, and recon area.
  • Responsible for cleaning intake area, scrubbing floors, foaming pipes and catwalk.
  • Responsible for titrating CIP systems, COP tanks, and sanitizer stations.
  • Operate multiple pieces of equipment to mix nonfat dry milk with water to create a slurry.
  • Agitating direct-ship loads to obtain a proper mixed sample.
  • Acquire milk, cream, and whey samples for lab.
  • Responsible for working additional shifts to cover department absences and holidays.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Your Education and Experience.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED/HSED) required or minimally enrolled with anticipated completion in 12 months or less
  • Previous maintenance and/or food industry experience is preferred.
  • Bulk Milk Weigher and Sampler license preferred.
  • Forklift certification preferred.


Your Qualifications.

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lifting up to 75 lbs. occasionally.

Machinery, moving mechanical parts, and robotics are used during production, so the work environment is usually loud. During sanitation work, you may be exposed to wet, humid, damp conditions.
