Description

Summary:

This position is responsible for on-time delivery to the customer, facilitating sales and operations planning, and establishing process changes across the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with all operations teams to assist in establishing SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning).
  • Assist team with forecast management by recommending demand adjustments, communicating changes in customer activity, and advising operations capacity.
  • Develop and maintain companywide metrics and issues with cross-functional teams (delivery performance to customers, penalties, new/lost business, etc.).
  • Work closely with operations teams to track, manage, and communicate delivery performance projects.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing and purchasing to capture root-cause reason codes along with corrective actions for unfulfilled parts.
  • Create and implement mitigation actions that address critical delivery issues.
  • Lead monthly New Business volume increase or decrease planning meetings and communicate changes in volume to cross-functional teams.
  • Drive weekly/monthly customer meetings to review metrics and address supply issues.
  • Other job activities as assigned.

Essential Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or related; 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain or customer delivery preferably in automotive aftermarket
  • Advanced experience in Excel, Access, and/or Power BI (VBA skills a plus); experience with MS Office
  • Extensive use of MRP systems; experience in material control and/or production planning
  • Ability to travel as needed
