Coordinate and manage activities related to the computer maintenance management system (CMMS), including work order system, preventative maintenance program, and maintenance parts and supply inventory and facility equipment records by performing the following duties.

Perform office duties for the departments including utilizing Microsoft Office, filing, and distribution of paperwork to appropriate areas within the company. Create and modify existing computerized maintenance management system reporting to optimize preventive and predictive maintenance analysis.

What You Do.
- Maintain and promote a safe working environment taking appropriate safety precautions and measures.
- Strict housekeeping of work area in shop and assigned tasks throughout facility.
- GMP knowledge and practice at all times.

- Follow established maintenance excellence processes and required standards of excellence.
- Utilize the predictive maintenance diagnostic tools and procedures provided, interpreting and documenting results. Taking appropriate measures to prevent failure.
- Job task assignments and tasks will be performed through the computerized maintenance management system.
- Verifies accuracy of information on purchase requests.
- Prepares purchase orders for maintenance parts and service calls and sends copy to supplier.
- Compares prices, specifications, and delivery dates to optimize costs and efficiencies.
- Stocks materials to proper bin locations. Receive and verify accuracy of parts ordered.
- Verify inventory accuracy by cycle counting and generate reports as requested.
- Constructs, kits, and stages materials for scheduled repairs and PMs.
- Communicates with suppliers concerning delivery lead time expectations.
- Searches inventory records or warehouse to determine if material on hand is in sufficient quantity and advises on inventory adjustments.
- Verifies invoices, purchases orders and approves them for payment
- Prepares reports such as inventory balances and parts usage.
- Confers with subject matter experts on proper material and established standards for replacement components when substitutions are required.
- Manages onboarding of new parts and bin locations.
- On occasion may need to assist with the creation, printing, tracking, and resolution of work orders, specifically with their relation to spare parts.
- Recommends CMMS system changes for refinement and methods of expediting.
- Assists in extracting information from the computerized maintenance management system, when requested, for internal and external audits.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor and/or plant engineer.
Your Education and Experience.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED/HSED) required.
- Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in a maintenance related field preferred.
- Three to five years related maintenance experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
