Laser Clad Operator II

Kondex Corporation is looking to add a Laser Clad Operator II to our team on 3rd shift.

HOURS: 3rd Shift – Sunday – Thursday 10:00pm to 6:30am

*Training will take place on 1st shift for approximately 8 weeks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Set-up and operate all elements of the robotic laser clad cell and meet predetermined rates.
2. Read prints and routings.
3. Follow established machine settings and parameters.
4. Operate lifting devices to move product throughout the work area.
5. Perform lock-out tag-out on equipment.
6. Perform basic to complex inspections using hand-held measuring devices.
7. Perform preventative maintenance on machines per instructions.
8. Perform 5S activities within the cell.

Qualification Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
2. Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions, prints, and inspection criteria.
3. Ability to learn how to operate more complex equipment.
4. Ability to work independently.
5. Prior manufacturing and machine operation experience is required.
