What You Do.

  • Work in a team and individual setting, communicate effectively, and pay attention to details
  • Assures that quality and quantity of work produced is acceptable to company standards
  • Youth Apprenticeship is a 450 – 600 hour position. 200 – 350 hours are completed in the summer and 250 hours are completed during the school year

Your Education and Experience.

  • Must be junior or senior in high school in the 2024-25 school year
  • Ability to start on June 17, 2024 and end May 30, 2025
  • Students are required to apply online at https://careers.sargento.com/us/en/c/students-jobs. If offered a position the student must then provide Sargento with the Youth Apprenticeship program application paperwork from their High School Counselor.
  • Ability to learn new skills
  • Ability to accomplish tasks at hand in a timely manner
  • Ability to perform tasks by adhering to all safety regulations and requirements
  • Ability to maintain physical activity with some handling of heavy materials
  • Ability to read, write, conduct basic math, and follow written and verbal instructions
