Overview

The Marketing Operations Manager will oversee the planning and execution of marketing and communication projects, project management technology, and data/analytics of projects by coordinating with Marketing Communications Specialists and Marketing Associates as well as partnering with Marketing Business Partners, internal shared services, and external agencies. This role will support cost reduction and process improvement within Marketing Services and maximize the efficiency of operations to create value for customers, Marketing Services, and Alliance Laundry Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead team of Marketing Communications Specialists, providing support for complex issues
  • Serve as primary account executive, along with Marketing Communications Specialists, between the Marketing Business Partners and the shared services/agency resources
  • Provide Marketing Business Partner support for Commercial Support and Aftermarket Parts
    • Manage asset requests from submission to delivery
    • Coordinate all communications to external and internal prospects
  • Serve as Business Partner/main point contact for international stakeholders and Human Resources (Corporate and Manufacturing), working with shared services/agency to deliver results
  • Act as Marketing Communications Specialist for segments, as required
  • Identify and implement changes to systems and processes to create a more efficient work environment for Marketing services, as needed
  • Oversee management of segment tradeshows and external events
  • Work with shared services and Marketing Business Partners to review monthly projects and provide summary to internal teams
  • Manage all corporate communications for external customers
  • Work with Sales Operation Specialists and shared services on all pricing documentation
  • Follow campaigns, along with team, and provide results to business partners and Director of Marketing and Global Digital Marketing, including tracking of agency expenses for all campaigns

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field and 5+ years related professional experience
  • 3-5 years of people management experience
  • Fundamental understanding of marketing automation tools and email marketing

Skills and Abilities:

  • Analytical; Intellectual curiosity, must enjoy gathering and digging deeply into data to identify issues and solve problems
  • Strong business acumen; Ability to grasp understanding of business models and key drivers quickly
  • Solid organizational skills; Ability to self-manage workload and multiple projects simultaneously while managing and meeting tight deadlines; Ability to manage team and their projects
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; Communicate effectively and professionally across all levels of the organization and external stakeholders; Confidence in creating and delivering presentations to senior leadership
  • Resilient; Able to confidently navigate ambiguity and change
  • Strong work ethic; Self-starter, demonstrating proactive approach, self-initiative, and tenacity
  • Systems-proficient, particularly with MS Office Suite; Working knowledge of SAP preferred
  • Prior experience working with WordPress and Salesforce Pardot desirable

Travel:

  • Ability to travel as needed. On average, travel will be no more than 15% of the time

Standard and Physical Requirements:

  • Position involves sitting long periods, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending and minimal lifting.
