Overview
The Mechanical Engineer Co-Op will be a part of the Design team. The Mechanical Engineer Co-Op will be responsible for providing specific project support. This position will be based in Ripon, WI and is open to students looking for a Spring/Summer 2024 Co-Op or Summer/Fall 2024 Co-Op.
Responsibilities
- Update and organize engineering documentation – drawings, specifications, and agency standards
- Component re-design for cost reduction and assembly optimization
- Design work and lab testing to support other longer term product development projects
Qualifications
Skills and Abilities:
- Candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills and be a team player
Education:
- Pursing a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Desigh or another related field.
- Some experience with 3D modeling in either Creo or Solidworks
Physical Requirements:
- Position involves sitting long periods, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending and minimal lifting.
