Overview

The National Accounts Sales Assistant responsibilities include supporting National Account Customers, sales fulfillment, logistics and installation support, technical support and pre-sale and post-sale through the National Account program.

Responsibilities

  • Support the National Accounts team’s daily interactions with customers by providing price quotes, equipment specs, technical information, and other assistance as needed by the department
  • Maintain data in CRM system, including follow-up and reporting on active quotes
  • Act as the primary contact for specific National Accounts with focus on large and small chassis products and assigned key accounts
  • Coordinate record keeping with Customer Support department
  • Assist with managing the monthly sales forecast for the assigned NA Commercial Sales segment
  • Maintain override information and sales reporting for National Accounts program
  • Research projects for existing and new accounts, as needed
  • Manage marketing and web site interaction with existing National Accounts

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent required, plus 3-5 years’ experience in sales or customer support related positions
  • If you have a Bachelor’s degree, this will meet the experiential requirement above

Skills and Abilities:

  • Systems-proficient; Particularly Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively and professionally across levels of the organization and with external stakeholders
  • Intermediate understanding of Salesforce strongly preferred; Experience with SAP is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills: Ability to self-manage workload; able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Customer-centric; adept at cultivating relationships and consistently delivers an efficient, positive customer experience
  • Demonstrates curiosity; Strong analytical and research skills, leverage multiple sources of data to proactively identify appropriate solutions

Travel:

  • No regular travel required; Ability to travel as needed

Standard and Physical Requirements:

  • Position involves sitting long periods, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending and minimal lifting
