Brunswick is in search of an Operations Center team member. Brunswick requires an individual who is a problem solver and has a proven record of accomplishment working within a team environment to successfully address challenging technical issues. To ensure success within this position, the individual selected will need to be motivated, detail oriented, customer focused, able to adapt to change and drive issues to resolution. This individual will also be working with multiple technology teams that will encourage knowledge sharing and continual improvement of various skillsets. The position requires dedication, persistence, follow-up, and effective time management.  

Base Qualifications: 

  • Strong interpersonal skills required to effectively communicate with teams, customers, and vendors.   
  • Ability to verbally communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.  
  • Perform tasks independently and work within a fast-paced environment.  
  • Able to document processes providing other teams precise and accurate methods to troubleshoot and repair common issues.  
  • Possess analytical and problem-solving abilities.  

Essential Duties: Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Troubleshoot communication between systems (LAN, WAN, Cloud). 
  • Troubleshoot shoot security issues (Firewall, WAF, Proxy, Cloud) 
  • Troubleshoot identity related issues (SSO) 
  • Update managed systems. 

Technical Knowledge by Domain: 

Candidates should have moderate ability in one, or multiple technologies listed below. 

  • Infrastructure: 
  • Firewalls, Switching, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Client VPN, P2P VPN, SDWAN, DHCP, DNS, HTTP/s, TCP/IP, NAT, Proxy, VDI, Server / Client OS (Microsoft, Unix, Linux) 
  • Information Security: 
  • Firewalls, Network Security Groups, Public-key Encryption, Proxys, Web Application Firewalls, CDNs, Certificates, SSO 
  • Cloud Platforms: 
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)  

Preferred Vendor Experience: 

  • Palo Alto, Cisco, Meraki, F5, Cloudflare, Citrix, Microsoft 

Experience/Educational Qualifications: 

  • Five years’ experience with various technologies across each Technical Domain. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
