This position promotes and supports the learning experience of Marian University students by, coordinating a variety of functions to ensure consistent and orderly daily operations of the Student Life department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee the operations of Sabre Central. Hire and train student employees to have a general knowledge of all university services and departments functions along with creating student ID’s, handling of packages, mail, answering university phone line, lost and found, and servicing all special groups such as EAA guests. Serve as a backup for customer service and front-line support at Sabre Central.
- Manage the Parking Permit program with the assistance of Rydin software. Administer manual parking permits, vehicle updates, guest passes, citation review, and electronic file maintenance.
- Oversee and have supervisory duties for the Graphic Services Mailroom.
- Serve as the point of contact by responding to walk-ins and guiding them appropriately.
- Participate in divisional and departmental programs, training sessions, and workshops
- Provide administrative support to the Vice President of Student Life that requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgement as well as confidentiality.
- Coordinate the intra-department activities for the Office of Student Life and departments within the division.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Office of Student Life, including maintaining departmental files, coordinating departmental meetings, maintaining office supply inventory, etc.
- Manage Hornung Student Center room reservations and assist students with reserving other spaces on campus.
- Coordinate and maintain student mailbox assignments and distribution of residential mail.
- Assist with coordination of the logistics for all New Student Orientation events, includes set up, offices involved, volunteers, and printed information.
- Work collaboratively with IT, Dining Service, and the Business Office to administer food plans and points to students, faculty, and staff. Assist students and staff with obtaining additional plan and points.
- Maintain a positive work environment by cooperating in a professional manner with the University Community.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and SKILLS REQUIRED:
