The City of Fond du Lac Department of Public Works is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Park Caretaker within the Parks & Forestry Division. The position is under general supervision to perform maintenance work on buildings and grounds and equipment assigned to the Parks Division, and to perform related work within the Department of Public Works as required.
Graduation from high school or equivalent along with previous experience in building and grounds maintenance including plumbing, carpentry, etc. is required; prefer CPR and First Aid training.
Special requirements include: possession of a valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver’s License with B, C, D and Endorsement N, air brakes required; and Chain saw safety certification preferred.
