OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE

  • Establish, implement and revise development strategies to align with Badger Liquor’s mission and vision.
  • Lead efforts to ensure onboarding and ongoing employee learning is effective and represents Badger’s Liquor’s culture.
  • Develop learning plans that support the achievement of the overall business objectives.
  • Build and maintain successful working relationships with leaders and employees to identify gaps in training/development and provide innovative solutions.
  • Partner with leadership on employees’ career path goals through Career Development Plans and Skill Enhancement Plans.
  • Model and foster a Badger Liquor culture of positivity, curiosity, trust, collaboration and self-awareness.

BUSINESS OPERATIONS- Through cooperation and commitment to excellence, our processes are efficient and effective.

  • Identify learning development needs for employees based on changing technology, customer needs and the goals of the company.
  • Implement effective programs, seminars and learning experiences across all locations and departments within the company.
  • Assist with creating new course content and executing various training through Badger University.
  • Create and implement different methods of training that include podcasts, online, interactive, in person, Learning Management Systems (LMS) platforms, Articulate, etc.
  • Maintain professional supplier relationships to develop the appropriate supplier driven training for the internal sales teams.
  • Develop effective measurement tools to evaluate the results of the training programs.
  • Communicate to employees on beneficial development for their role and experience.
  • Monitor market and supplier trends to stay current on all training throughout the company.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of training/people development experience and comparable people leadership experience.
  • Experience in a distribution and/or sales environment preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to other locations within the State of Wisconsin and flex work hours to address the needs of the business.
