Records & License Assistant

We are seeking candidates for a part-time (6 hrs./day) Records & License Assistant. Scheduled hours are 10:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with potential to work additional hours as needed. This position reports directly to the City Clerk and is responsible for acting as the assistant to the Licensing and Records Division.

This position prepares and edits minutes, and processes agendas. Assists with projects in the Clerk’s office under the supervision of the City Clerk such web-based research, responding to citizen requests for information, noticing, advertising and calendaring public hearings. Provides information and assistance and receives applications for licenses. Maintains accounting and other records.

Qualifications and requirements include: High school graduate with technical training in computers, data entry and records management, Microsoft office suite, and three to five years office experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities; cashier or other experience that provides equivalent skills and abilities a plus.

Salary range is $20.16 – $21.31 based upon knowledge, skills and abilities with potential to receive annual COLA and step increases pending City Council approval of budgets. Submissions reviewed upon receipt.
