POSITION BACKGROUND
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our dynamic Marketing & Sales department. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence, enhancing customer and sales partner relationships, and driving sales growth through strategic engagement and leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Territory Management: Oversee a designated USA territory, ensuring alignment with company goals
- Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and implement sales strategies that increase market share, penetrate new markets, and enhance customer engagement. Focus on growing business and closing deals effectively.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly interact with key stakeholders including contractors, distributors, engineers, and architects. Understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and foster long-term relationships.
- Sales Partner Development: Recruit, train, and mentor sales partners to ensure they are well-versed in our products, sales techniques, capabilities, and standards.
- Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for internal teams and external partners on product knowledge, sales techniques, and support.
- Market and Product Development Insight: Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product development and updates, ensuring our offerings meet market demands.
- Project Management: Lead key project business, ensuring leads are closed and customer requirements are met.
- Travel: Be willing to travel 30% of the time to meet with sales partnerships, customers and other stakeholders and attend trade shows, site visits, and other customer meetings.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Act as a brand ambassador, promoting the company’s mission, vision, values, and capabilities at all times with professionalism and integrity.
Initial Training Program:
- Factory Training: The successful candidate will undergo a 6-9 month training period at our headquarters in Wisconsin and on the road with existing RSMs. This training will include:
- Working alongside our inside sales team to understand customer interactions and sales processes.
- Collaborating with our project engineering team to gain insights into products and capabilities.
- Engaging with the sales development team to learn about market requirements, sales strategies, CRM systems, and the typical sales cycle.
- On-the-Road Training: After approximately 3-6 months, the candidate will shadow existing Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) in the field to gain practical experience and insights into managing a territory.
- Factory Tours: Participate and shadow all stakeholder factory tours.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience:
- Proven track record in a sales role.
- Skills:
- Excellent IT and computer literacy for managing sales data, CRM systems, and digital communication tools.
- Superior listening and presentation skills to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking and sales acumen to grow business and close deals.
- Proficiency in developing sales strategies and executing them effectively.
