Alliance Manufacturing, Inc., a leading provider of innovative solutions for industrial parts cleaning applications, is seeking a Sales Engineer!

The position as Sales Engineer involves meeting with customers, evaluating applications, preparing quotations, coordinating trade shows, working with representatives, in-house testing/demonstrations, and other sales related activities.
Position Summary:
Actively promote the company’s products and solicit orders through in-house technical sales support and outside sales activities. Position will involve numerous sales activities as outlined below.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate customer applications by personal visit or telephone communication.
- Review customer specifications to determine alignment to “Alliance Standards”.
- Qualify/contact sales leads.
- Prepare proposal packages.
- Follow-up with proposals.
- Assist with tradeshow activities.
- Assist with marketing activities.
- Prepare equipment/accessory estimates.
- Conduct customer run-off/machine acceptance.
- Test clean parts.
- Conduct customer demonstrations.
- Arrange customer visits to existing customer facilities.
- Support internal staff and departments.
- Negotiate sales contracts.
- Keep accurate records, both written and using sales tracking software.
- Work with and train representatives.
- Identify and propose new product/market opportunities.
- Available to travel when needed.
- Perform addition duties as requested and assigned.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks accurately within acceptable and / or requested deadlines.
- Experience / knowledge related to industrial cleaning equipment.
- Ability to successfully negotiate sales orders which satisfy both the company and customer.
- Educational background and/or experience in mechanical design/industrial/engineering/business/marketing.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and sales tracking software.
- Knowledge of sales function and procedures.
