Description
Fond du Lac County Highway Department positions will assist and help with various crews performing maintenance to our highway system. The ability to work primarily outside in various degrees of temperature and weather within close proximity to heavy equipment and moving traffic working with a variety of highway maintenance products including hot asphalt rubber sealants, asphalt pavement, gravel, etc, involving prolonged and frequent walking, standing, climbing, pushing, pulling lifting, carrying, shoveling, and other forms of manual labor is required. Primary job responsibilities will be to assist our route and crack seal crew in along with flagging for traffic control, cleaning and preparing pavements for maintenance applications, landscaping and other tasks as required. Pay Scale ranges from $13.50-$15.00/hr based on years of service. Typical Qualifications
