Stuart’s Landscaping & Garden Center is currently hiring full time and part time positions for Seasonal Retail Garden Center Staff.
Job Overview:
- Assist in green houses or in the yard by doing assigned tasks (Watering, fertilizing, pruning, plant placement, loading and unloading).
- Keep all inventory tagged and priced.
- Assist customers and help them find what they are looking for.
- Keep grounds clean and in an orderly manner.
- Monitor plants and report any problems to appropriate personnel.
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of plants is a bonus – willingness to learn is a must.
- Flexible work schedule including weekend and holiday availability and extended work days during peak season.
- Willingness to learn how to operate equipment.
- Ability to lift at least 30 pounds.
