Employment/FLSA Status: Full time/Non-exempt
Core Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00 am-3:00 pm. Hours and OT are subject to change based on customers’ demands.
Position Summary: The Shipping & Receiving Supervisor coordinates the receipt and subsequent shipment of M&E (Materials & Equipment). The purpose of this position is to support production and provide service to both internal and external customers. To oversee and ensure proper training of warehouse personnel.
Essential Functions:
Receiving
- To direct unloading of all trucks and transfers
- Unloading Trucks
- Document / Communicate instances of damaged or missing product
- Physical Verification of Product
- Entering receipts into system
Shipping
- Picking all orders and offsite warehouse transfers
- Arrange/ Schedule LTL pickups and creates B.O.L’s
- Pack/Wrap orders for shipment, load trucks
- Communicate order status by means of transfers.
- Process daily transfer of product
Inventory
- Maintain inventory accuracy of M&E Warehouse.
- Direct team of locations for pallets and product.
Other
- Communicate needs/changes to the truck scheduler.
- Assist cross train with other material handlers.
- Assist with material handling.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.

Education:
Associate degree preferred, equivalent related experience considered
High School Diploma required
Work Environment:
This position is routinely required to work in an environment that is moderately noisy.
Physical Demands:
This position is required to stand and walk up to 2/3 of the time. This position requires you to sit, use hands to finger, handle or touch more than 2/3 of the time and does require the individual to lift to 50 lbs periodically. Close and color vision, as well as the ability to adjust focus are required to perform this position.
