Oakfield Elementary School has been rated as a Significantly Exceeds Expectations School by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction for several years. The school has also achieved Title One School of Recognition status for five consecutive years.The Oakfield community is extremely supportive of academic achievement, social/emotional growth, and has high expectations for the school district. We have one-to-one computer devices for students and small class sizes.
We are currently seeking a full time Special Education Paraeducator at the elementary school. The regular schedule is 37.5 hours per week and follows the school year calendar.
- Supporting the academic and behavioral needs of special education students at the elementary school level
- Working collaboratively with the special education teachers and classroom teachers to implement Individual Education Programs
- Following procedures and expectations established by the special education teachers to promote positive student behaviors
- Respecting confidentiality of students and families
- Maintaining a positive and flexible classroom environment
- Completing paperwork as required
