The Rosendale-Brandon School District seeks a dedicated Technology Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year and beyond. The opening is necessary in order to add additional courses at the middle school and high school, which is possible because of a successful building referendum. Newly constructed and refurbished CTE areas will broaden course offerings for all students.
Applicants must be committed to continuous improvement and skilled at fostering mutually respectful relationships with students, parents, colleagues and community members to assist students in the processes of learning to design and build products and to develop the technological, problem-solving, and hands-on skills needed in the skilled trades.
Experience teaching a variety of Technical Education courses is desired as the specific teaching course load will be crafted to fit the skill set of the chosen candidate. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to provide students with rigorous and high-quality learning experiences in CTE areas such as woodworking and metals. Working with our current CTE staff to create new course offerings that keep our graduates prepared for the ever changing workforce is necessary. Additional consideration will be given to candidates willing to pursue transcripted course certification(s) through our local Moraine Park Technical College partnership.
Applicants must be certified by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction with 1220 Technical Education licenses or willing to obtain thru the Initial Teaching License Pathway or Experienced Based Licensure. Candidates should be proactive and passionate in their work with teens using a hands-on learning approach that encourages students to imagine, create and learn through the process of manufacturing, testing, and demonstrating their ideas.
Those looking to join the tradition of excellence that the Rosendale-Brandon School District is known for, should send a letter of interest to Principal Diane Raue via email at rauedia@rbsd.k12.wi.us. All other materials should be submitted via WECAN, (resume, letters of recommendation, college transcripts, copy of current DPI license). Qualified candidates will be interviewed as applications are submitted.
