Position Summary:
Kriete Truck Centerslocated in multiple cities across the state of Wisconsin are looking to hire full-time mechanics to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Class 6, 7, and 8 trucks. Must be available to work extended hours.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of mechanical experience or a degree of an accredited diesel program
- Knowledge and proven experience with diagnostic fault-code troubleshooting using a laptop computer / software, electrical, clutch, suspension, air/hydraulic brake and air conditioning systems diagnosis and repair and maintenance services on Mack, Volvo, Hino and Mitsubishi trucks
- A/C certification
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to obtain CDL
Essential Duties include but are not limited to:
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Diagnose causes of any malfunction and perform necessary truck repairs
- Document all work performed and recommendations on the repair order
- Examine assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
