WHAT YOU GET TO DO
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on a complex conveyor system.
- Installs belts on conveyor system, tightens belts, adjusts tension rolls, aligns rollers and replaces defective parts
- Responsible for ordering parts from vendors for the conveyor system
- Work with Chief Mechanic & Fleet Manager and Operations Manager to ensure maintenance is being completed as needed
- Primary interface to warehouse management vendor
- Performs maintenance audits on the conveyor system
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and control systems
- Cleans the conveyor system as needed
- Assists in moving semi-tractor trailers and small trucks in and out of loading bays
- Travels to other Badger locations in Wisconsin to perform maintenance as needed
- Performs metal fabrication and welding as needed
- Additional duties as assigned by management

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Valid driver license and satisfactory driving record required
- Intermediate computer skills
- Mechanical background preferred
- Must be qualified to operate a scissor lift
- Electrical Certification preferred
- Experience in a distribution and warehouse preferred
- Participate in Badger Liquor meetings/events as needed, which may occasionally be held on non-scheduled work days
- May be required (regular or overtime) to flex hours outside of standard schedule to support all areas of the business, including call support if needed.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
Due to the fast paced, highly physical demands of the position, job candidates will be required to complete a Post Offer Pre-Employment Physical (POPE). Job candidates must pass all aspects of the POPE to qualify for the position.
