Description
Background: The School District of North Fond du Lac is located five miles north of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin in Fond du Lac County. We serve over 1550 pre-kindergarten through 12th-grade students providing well-designed lessons by removing barriers and providing meaningful feedback helps to build success within all student learners. We are seeking an intelligent, motivated, passionate, innovative, and engaging teacher who will meet the needs of all students by effectively collaborating with the staff and partnering with our families. Our new teacher will be passionate and committed to their students’ sense of belonging and well-being, They will include student voice into the classroom. while exhibiting strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
General Description of Position Assignment: This position is currently for 6-12 Grade Bessie Allen Middle School (BAMS), Horace Mann High School (HMHS). Our ideal candidate will have the versatility to serve as an 6-12 instructor in the area of Technology Education/Woodworking.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver effective instruction to students individually and in groups, using various teaching methods that provide students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.
- Ability to collaborate with special and general education colleagues to improve student learning.
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues that work with English Language Learners (ELL) to improve student learning.
- Willingness and ability to build relationships and engage with families.
- Use data to adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
- Knowledgeable in Wisconsin state standards and be able to modify and adapt the curriculum to meet individual student learning needs.
- Understand the IEP process and have the ability to assist in the evaluation of children possessing a variety of disabilities.
- Understanding of the developmental stages of literacy and use of developmentally appropriate practices and strategies.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and interpersonal skills.
