Rosendale is a village in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,039 at the 2020 census. The village is located partially within the Town of Rosendale and partially within the Town of Springvale. The villge has a total area of 1.22 square miles, all of which is land. The village was named for the wild rose bushes growing in a dale near the original town site.

The most common industries in Rosedale are machinery, educational services, accommodation & food services, printing & related support activities ,health care, public administration, and construction.

Something you might not know…Rosendale is home to Sisson’s Peony Gardens, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Open for public viewing, the gardens hold an annual Peony Sunday in early June.

More stuff of interest…Rosendale has a reputation of being a speed trap with a police department that heavily enforces traffic laws.
