Rosendale is a village in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,063 at the 2010 census. The village is located partially within the Town of Rosendale and partially within the Town of Springvale. The villge has a total area of 1.22 square miles, all of which is land. The village was named for the wild rose bushes growing in a dale near the original town site.

Something you might not know…Rosendale is home to Sisson’s Peony Gardens, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Open for public viewing, the gardens hold an annual Peony Sunday in early June.
