As a Nurse Supervisor, you will assist in planning, organizing and directing nursing service. Control and evaluation of nursing service in order to meet the total nursing needs of the resident and maintain a quality of service that will fulfill the objective of the nursing home, and be in accordance with the policies set forth by the nursing home. Supervise care and management of shift. Plan and participate in in-service training and orientation programs. Coordinate the care planning program.
The Nursing Shift Supervisor is directly responsible to the Director of Nursing.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Commitment to quality programs and services for the residents/patients/clients.
2. Excellent communications and human relation skills.
3. Ability to relate well to the residents/patients/clients, family members / personal representatives.
4. Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of information.
5. Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions and exhibit flexibility when needed.
- Currently registered as an R.N. in the state of Wisconsin.
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
1. Has had progressive management nursing experience within long term care/post-acute.
2. Previous Supervisory experience preferred
3. Has knowledge and/or experience in the areas of geriatric nursing or has the ability to learning quickly.
4. Knowledge of MDS and Medicare a plus.
5. Ability to utilize and leverage electronic medical record to support nursing care.
