Description
Kondex Corporation is looking for a Manufacturing Painter / Assembly Tech II to join the Sickle Assembly department.
Current opening on 1st shift
1st Shift hours: Monday – Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
(Hours can fluctuate depending on customer requirements and training needs)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Basic manual assembly using pneumatic and hand tools.
- Learn spray coat paint operation as back-up operator.
- Reading prints and routings.
- Performing basic inspections using hand-held measuring devices.
- Wrapping completed products in preparation for shipment.
- Closing orders in computer system.
- Perform manual material handling.
- Performing 5S activities, including limited preventative maintenance on equipment.
- May assist in training full time, part time, or temporary associates in the Sickle Assembly department.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Prior painting experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Prior experience using basic hand tools is preferred.
