Membership Coordinator

Reports to: Vice President of Membership & Resource Development

FSLA Status: Exempt

Work schedule: Standard office hours (8am-5pm), some occasional evenings possible

Travel expectation: Local travel (Fond du Lac County), as outlined by the Vice President of
Membership & Resource Development or President/CEO

Position summary: The Membership Coordinator is responsible for a range of activities related to Business-to-Business sales, engagement and retention of members.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies: Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

Membership Recruitment

  • Secure revenue through selling new memberships, upgraded memberships, and sponsorships.
  • Understand the value and mission of Envision Greater Fond du Lac, the direct and indirect benefits of membership, and effectively communicate to prospective members.
  • Use CRM to track prospects for membership, appointments, sales, and appropriate follow-ups.
  • Lead and develop the Ambassadors Club. Leverage the Ambassadors for new member sales, engagement and renewals.
  • Leverage relationships with members to generate multiple revenue streams of sponsorship, event attendance, and investment.
  • Work in partnership with Vice President of Membership & Resource Development to strategize shared approaches for various members.

Member Engagement and Retention

  • Build meaningful relationships with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, representing all sizes and types of business.
  • Direct ribbon cuttings for members with assistance of Ambassadors Club.
  • Execute processes for member on-boarding and member retention.
  • Spearhead membership renewal process, working closely with Accounting department.
  • Solicit feedback from members and pilot new programs or benefits that add value to membership.
  • Execute ongoing member networking events (Business Connections/Coffee Connections).
  • Assist with major Envision Greater Fond du Lac events as directed by Vice President of Membership & Resource Development.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in sales, public relations, or business required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
