Job Description

Fedco is currently seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to join our team. The position will work closely with existing sales personnel, Independent Manufacturer Representatives and internal stakeholders to help Fedco grow new O.E.M. business opportunities while maintaining our existing customer’s high level of sales and customer satisfaction. The RSM will be responsible for growing the assigned, established territory, work through technical issues that arise through daily interaction with customers, maintain notes and records within our CRM software, attend occasional trade shows and seminars. 


  • Support outside Sales Reps with product information, technical expertise and quotations
  • Lead development of new business through outstanding quotation follow-up
  • Further develop business relationships with existing customers
  • Work with estimating, engineering, and purchasing departments to generate excellent quotations for Fedco products and services
  • Maintain account records using Avidian (Prophet), our CRM software
  • Receive, process and verify the accuracy of customer orders/change orders
  • Work with all departments to insure total customer satisfaction
  • Continuous learning and retention of technical product information (training will be provided)


  • Proven record of Sales Management success in a fast paced, manufacturing environment
  • Experience with managing either Independent Reps, an Outside Sales force or possibly have experience as an Outside or Independent Sales Representative calling on O.E.M.s
  • Proven success selling a technical or engineered product
  • Validated capacity to convey technical data and information in verbal, written and multimedia formats
  • Have a proven ability to work cohesively in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills
  • Self-starter able to work with minimal management oversight
  • Familiarity with CRM software a plus & validated skills working with MS Office programs


  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in a technical or engineer field
  • 2 to 5 years of sales experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent career related references from at least 2 individuals
