Sadoff E-Recycling & Data Destruction Attains Green Professional Status

Family-owned company accomplishes sustainability achievement

Sadoff E-Recycling & Data Destruction earned Green Professional status from Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council’s (WSBC) Green Masters Program that enables Wisconsin businesses to measure and improve their sustainability outcomes.

The Green Masters Program works to identify companies that take actions within nine sustainability pillars to transform their business to be more environmentally friendly. It is an objective, points-based recognition, assessment, and certification program that offers three levels of participation: Green Apprentice, Green Professional, and Green Master.

“We are honored with this Green Professional recognition and to be included with some of the best-in-class businesses in Wisconsin,” said Executive Vice President Jason Lasky. “75 years ago, when my grandfather started this business, his goal was to help his community and the people that live in it. By reducing our company’s and clients’ environmental footprint, we can proudly say we are making a difference.”

Last year, Sadoff E-Recycling & Data Destruction recycled over 1.9 million pounds of electronics and reduced their solid waste generation by 88%. Additional sustainability improvements to their facility also reduced water usage by 80% and their natural gas usage by 44%.

WSBC hosts an annual conference to honor their top members, and this year’s event will be held November 15-16, 2022, at Lambeau Field with Sadoff E-Recycling & Data Destruction being an event sponsor.
