Responsibilities:
- Supervise, direct and review results through the delegation of tasks throughout the planning, field work and wrap-up stages of an audit client engagement
- Advise clients and resolve complex accounting issues.
- Document, validate, test and assess various financial reporting control systems
- Market, network, develop new businesses and lead client presentations
- Apply GAAP and GAAS consistently within complex situations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA license
- 5+ years of accounting, auditing and financial management experience including prior non-profit or governmental audit experience
- Strong organizational, research, analytical, problem solving, communication, presentation and PC skills
- Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm, work independently within a team environment, and multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong technical skills pertaining to the preparation of compilations & reviews, proficiency with GAAP and Internal Controls over financial reporting
