Minimum 3 years of work experience in solar design and electrical engineering within the construction industry. Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.
The Electrical Department is looking for a successful candidate responsible for the delivery of innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions to meet our clients’ needs. This individual will design and engineer solar PV systems for commercial and utility-scale projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant engineering standards and codes.
- Main qualifications in addition to the above-listed items:
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems, including knowledge of PV modules, inverters, racking systems, and balance of system (BOS) components.
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC), particularly as it relates to PV systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in PVsyst and PVchase or similar electrical system modeling software.
