Fond du Lac Works for Lori

Taking Care of our Employees.

Quad/Graphics’ Lomira plant, just south of Fond du Lac, is hard to miss from Hwy. 41. At more than 2 million square feet, it’s the single largest printing plant in the Western Hemisphere, pumping out well-known magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping, and Classic Car; catalogs like Fingerhut and Lands’ End; and newspaper inserts for Target, Roundy’s and Menards, among many others.

Key to the company’s success is the pride its employees take in serving clients. In turn, the company takes care of its employees with its robust benefits package. Eligible employees who choose health insurance can take advantage of the onsite, full-service primary care health center, which offers medical, dental and vision services. In addition, an onsite pharmacy makes it easy for employees to pick up prescriptions as well as over-the-counter medications.

Not far from the health center is an onsite fitness center, staffed by professionals who offer personal training and group classes as well as organized recreation leagues. The fitness center also houses a rehab center to help employees recover from injuries. The onsite childcare center and within-walking-distance apartment complex – Lithostone Meadow – make it easier for Quad/Graphics employees to find nearby, quality housing and childcare for infants six weeks through age 6. The childcare center also has a summer program and offers after-school care for school-age children.

With comprehensive benefits that ease many common daily worries, Quad/Graphics employees can focus on the opportunities they have in the workplace. In-house training and mentoring programs abound, giving each employee who wants to learn more and accelerate their career advancement the opportunity to do just that. In the plants, the level of drive and determination trumps formal education when it comes to advancement. Employees have a lot to say about what make Quad/Graphics stand out above the rest.
