Your Work.
- Monitor table area for cleanliness and readiness.
- Monitor cheese transferring from Vats to tables.
- Record cheese PH, pump down time, unload time, product ready time, salt and water amounts.
- Report cheese issues to a cheesemaker.
- Obtain samples from the table of whey and whey cream.
- Apply salt and shovel cheese.
- Rinse residual cheese curd from tables and sanitize the tables.
- Keep salt room and work area tidy.
- Monitor and operate whey process area; including whey separators, whey cream and whey cream tanks.
- Operate dry cooker and conveyor system.
- Operate cheese vat deck.
- Operate HTST.
- Operate milk separator.
- Other duties as assigned.
Your Education and Experience.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED/HSED) preferred
- Prior manufacturing experience is a plus
Your Qualifications.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Willingness to complete fork lift certification upon hire.
- Ability to learn and carry out lock out tag out procedures as required.
- Lifting 50 lbs.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
- Ability to perform data entry for inventory systems and labeling software.
